Mad Atao by Yes We Cam

Mad Atao by Yes we Cam is a team of 8 people with complementary skills, but it’s above all rich personal stories and a competitive vision of sailing: yes, we want to participate in the OGR and yes, we will fight until the finish line to be on the best step of the podium.

Although Jean will not be taking part in the OGR (as he will be busy with the Vendée Globe 2024), his contribution is immense: he brings us his expertise in the meticulous preparation of his boat to sail around the world as well as his great experience of the southern seas and its challenges.
Our partnership with him is also part of the communication around the project: we want to tell a beautiful inspiring story for those who will follow our adventures and communicate around the project by having Alegria participate in several events, especially in the Mediterranean, where our partners will be able to sail in a race or a cruise.

The Mad Atao team was built as a start-up of seniors, passionate about sailing, racing and always ready for adventure. After the ambition, the dream took shape when Jean agreed to rent us his Swan 59 “Alegria” and to become the Technical Director of our team with the promise to pass on a small part of his immense knowledge.
From this warm meeting was born Mad Atao by Yes we Cam !
Today our project is progressing rapidly: Alegria is under extensive refit; we are establishing the navigation program, preparing the sporting challenge, developing the communication around the team and the project while recruiting the crew.
