126 Films, in association with Marvelous Films, is in pre-production of a 52-minute documentary about Jean Le Cam, directed by Christophe Duchiron (Un Monde d’Emotions – Vendée Globe 2020-2021). 

Based on archive footage and video vignettes aboard his Imoca “Yes We Cam” from previous Vendée Globes, which were so popular on France 2 News and on YouTube (nearly 2m views); and guided by recent books about his life and his passion for racing, Jean Le Cam discusses more intimately the values that are dear to him. The meaning of the words “solitude” or “fear”, but above all his desire to share his commitment to school children and disadvantaged young people.

It is in the spirit of transmission that Jean has agreed to prepare “Alegria”, his Swan 59, and pass on his experience, expertise and happiness of being at sea with the “Mad Atao by Yes We Cam” team. The boat will be presented on the quayside and at sea in the film, highlighting sponsors.

The production is in conversation with major French TV channels and global streaming platforms with up to 250 million viewers worldwide.
